The Plage Doctor paper toy and the Poveglia diorama are now part of the crowding of the movie and I would like to ask everyone who can help, somehow contributing to the crowdfunding, or in publicizing this project on your social networks and the like. Mengotti, Miss Sybilla Odenheimer and all the Plague Doctor team for their confidence in letting me create the models. I recently had the honor of taking part in the project to promote The Plague Doctor movie, by Italian director and actor Emanuele Mengotti, and although my participation was very small and ephemeral (I only created a paper toy of the Plague Doctor and a diorama of the Island of Poveglia), I would like to thank Mr. ~ layered with Worbla (inside and out - I was too scared and didn't want to try out resin. ~ painted three times (inside and out) with Titebond II wood glue

~ Pep file (held with normal scotch tape) Which is alright though because you can't see it under all the hoods huehuehue I failed at mine (ended up being way too heavy) and had to make a 'death trap' hat on the back just to keep mine on,

I also love how you used magnets to hold your mask in place - it really does hold up well? I am forever reminded of one of my glues sealed in a thick bag labeled CANCER. I too used a Pepakura file for mine! Although, I wasn't patient enough for the glue so I had used tape for all of it >w< īut as a costumer and traditional artist, your "various other terrible glues" statement hit home lmao I always love seeing other peoples Revan WIP photos (ノ゚▽゚)ノ Now I have a lot of costume to make.īuild was card, pva, tape, masking tape, various other terrible glues, fibre glass resin, fibre glass, rondo (fibreglass and bondo mix), bondo, grey primer, car body paint, red acrylic, semi-gloss clear coat, foam, motorcycle visor inlay, magnets, and a Petzel headlamp headband. There are three tiny magnets glued in the top, and three on the front piece of a headlamp headband.

I was going to put a layer of tights behind it but found two layers hid my eyes. The visor was made from a doubled later of a motorcycle visor insert. If you tire of a tricky part of your pepakura, take a break, a night, a week, a fortnight, then come back to it.

Don't put the bondo layer on too thick, there's only so much time you can devote to sanding. You don't need as much tape as you think to help you, use pva glue, it stays stuck and dries fast.Darth Revan's mask, with the excellent pepakura model from Fierfek. Finally finished my first pepakura project.
